PD Ports to handle sheet piles on Humberside

PD Ports has secured a long-term agreement at its Immingham site to store and handle steel sheet piles for Sheet Piling UK. The port and terminal operator will store and handle up to 16,000 tonnes of imported as well as offer services such as clutch sealing, cutting and welding.

Imports wil arrive directly into Immingham from Abu Dhabi, saving the need for double-handling. Dedicated PD Ports staff on will be allocated to the contract.

Alrthough best know as a North-East port operator, PD Ports has five logistics sites on the Humber at Immingham, Keadby, Hull, Howden and Groveport.
