Peel Ports appoints Sheerness director

Peel Ports has appointed Richard Goffin as port director at its London Medway Sheerness facility. For the past two years he was port director at Peel Ports Great Yarmouth, a post he will continue to hold. He replaces previous Port Director Paul Barker, who will now head up the group’s new RoRo business unit.

Plans for Sheerness include new logistics facilities allowing for commodities such as automotive, forest products, construction materials, steel, containers and other bulk cargoes.
