Plans to speed Iran crossings
[ July 20, 2012 // Chris ]The IRU signed a a Memorandum of Understanding with the Iranian TIR guaranteeing association, the Iran Chamber of Commerce Industries and Mines (ICCIM) and the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) on cooperation and the use of modern TIR-IT risk-management technologies on 17 July. They also discussed the possibility of opening dedicated TIR-EPD Green Lanes at border-crossing points in Iran and neighbouring countries.
