Polish spit and polish for P&O ships
[ January 16, 2017 // Chris ]P&O Ferries is sending four ships from its North Sea and Short Sea fleets to the Remontowa shipyard in Gdansk this season for upgrades and re-fit work. The 32,000-ton sister ships the Pride of York and the Pride of Bruges, which operate on the Hull-Zeebrugge route, are due to sail to Remontowa in the week beginning 16 January and in February respectively for major work on their physical infrastructure and passenger areas. They will be followed during the current quarter by the English Channel vessels Pride of Canterbury and Pride of Burgundy. Replacement ships have been brought in as cover to maintain regular schedules, says P&O.
