Port of Tyne chairman, Sir Les Elton

Port of Tyne chairman Sir Les Elton, died this weekend following a recent illness.

Sir Les joined the Board of the Port of Tyne in 2004, taking over as chairman two years ago, and was instrumental in overseeing the recent growth and success of the business.
