Portland digs deep
[ August 11, 2020 // Chris ]Portland Port near Weymouth in southwest England has completed a project to dredge its main berths, the Outer Coaling Pier and the outer arm of Queens Pier. The work, which increases available depth from 9 to 11 metres, will increase the port’s capability to handle dry bulk, project cargo and cruise ships.
