President unveils new Monrovia quay
[ May 28, 2013 // Chris ]President of Liberia, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf dedicated APM Terminals’ new 600-meter quay at the Freeport of Monrovia on 22 May. The President noted that the quay was constructed to current industry standards the equal of any now operating around the world.
The new quay also paves the way for the next stages of the port modernization project, said APM Terminals Head of Project Implementation Soren Jakobsen. This will include roadway reconstruction, yard paving, new offices and gates and cargo handling technology.
