Race is over for DHL sailor

DHL-sponsored yachtswoman Susie Goodall has been rescued Hong Kong-registered general cargo ship Tian Fu after her boat came to grief 2,000 miles west of Cape Horn during the Golden Globe Race. The DHL Starlight lost her mast after capsizing during violent storms during the non-stop solo round-the-world race. The cargo ship’s master had to bring his vessel alongside the violently-pitching Starlight in a tricky manoeuvre.
