Rail Freight Group’s Tony Berkeley to retire

Rail Freight Group chairman Tony Berkeley is to retire at the RFG annual general meeting in November. In the meantime, he will continue his work for RFG including in Brussels as a Board Member of the European Rail Freight Association and ALLRAIL. Executive Director Maggie Simpson will continue to lead RFG’s work in representing the interests of the rail freight sector to Government, Network Rail, the Office of Rail and Road and others in the industry. The RFG directors will now consider the role of the chair in future and the basis of the appointment of a replacement.
