Railwayman takes ports role

ABP has appointed Lee Armstrong as group head of commercial (rail), a new role created to develop and drive company strategy and support customers’ broader logistics requirements. He is currently the commercial director of GB Railfreight and brings over 30 years’ experience in the rail sector. Armstrong’s role at the rail operator will be taken over by current head of contracts, Liam Day. Armstrong will support Day until he begins his new role at ABP.
