Rare honour for CMA CGM chief

CMA CGM founder the late Jacques Saadé has achieved the rare – for a shipping man – accolade of having a main city thoroughfare named after him. The city of Marseilles has bestowed the title Boulevard Jacques R. Saadé on the road stretching along the Mediterranean a from the famous MUCEM museum to, appropriately, the group’s head office. The new name was inaugurated on 27 June by Mayor of Marseilles, Jean-Claude Gaudin, in the presence of the Saadé family and many employees of the CMA CGM Group.
