Record box volume for Marseille

Marseille Fos handled a record 1.4 million teu in 2017, a 10% increase on 2016 and double the European average, said the southern French port. Throughput was boosted by a 10% volume increase at the Fos deepsea terminals and by three new services at Marseille.
