Röhlig expands in Thailand and Australia
[ December 5, 2024 // Chris Lewis ]Röhlig Logistics has opened a warehouse in Rayong, Laem Chabang in Thailand and is set to open another facility in Melbourne, Australia, in April 2025.
The new Thailand warehouse has 16,000sq m of storage space and is in a Free Trade Zone near Laem Chabang Port. It offers 10-meter-high ceilings, 15 loading docks, over 8,000 pallet positions, 10,000 bins for small parts and dedicated bulk and quarantine areas.
It can be expanded by an additional 5,000sq m to accommodate future growth. Safety features include a thermal isolation rooftop, sprinklers, fire alarms, 24/7 on-site security, and CCTV surveillance.
The upcoming Melbourne facility will be located near the airport. The 19,000sq m facility will feature 17,500 pallet positions and will have renewable energy sources, EV charging, and sustainable waste and water management practices.
