Rush-hour on the railways

Container traffic on the China/Europe route has doubled in the first four months of 2020, says JSC UTLC ERA which operates regular block trains through Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and Belarus and has an 80% market share on the route. In the first four months of the year, volume on UTLC ERA services reached 108,700teu with 33,000teu from Europe to China and 75,700teu from China to Europe. Volume in April 2020 reached 41,200teu for an individual month.
