Some 42% of customers on the Daily Maersk service product between Asia and Northern Europe report direct savings on logistics costs, according to the Danish-owned container line, It said that the reliability of the new service concept, launched in 2011, allowed them to optimise their transportation chain and accurately plan and schedule their shipments.
