Second E-Flexer for Stena’s Poland-Sweden route
[ January 12, 2023 // Chris Lewis ]Stena Line has launched its second E-Flexer vessel, the Stena Ebba on the Karlskrona-Gdynia route. It follows the introduction of sister Stena Estelle in September 2022 on the same route.
Stena Ebba is one of the largest ferries in regular operations in the Baltic Sea. She is 240 metres long, and can accommodate up to 200 trucks. With its 3,600 lane metres, capacity has increased by 60% compared with the previous vessel on the route.
The vessels can use shore power during port calls.
In June 2022, Stena transferred operations to a new ferry terminal in Gdynia, which allows berthing of 240 m vessels and has an adjacent rail terminal.
