Shipping escapes effects of Taiwan quake
[ April 4, 2024 // Chris Lewis ]Visibility specialist Project44 says it is not expecting any major impact on shipping from the earthquake that struck Taiwan on 3 April. The epicenter of the earthquake was well away from the major ports of Kao-Hsiung, Keelung, and Taipei. The nearest port is Hualien which handles coaster trade. Project44 anticipates most supply chain impacts will be local and affect roads, tunnels, and bridges in the area.
