Teesside agency handles its greenest ship yet
[ July 4, 2023 // Chris Lewis ]AV Dawson’s Cockfield Knight agency arm is handling some rather different vessels from the cargo ships that are its normal business.
The Port of Middlesbrough-based company has been chosen to take charge of a vessel as part of the Tall Ships Festival at Hartlepool Marina.
It will be looking after the Alexander von Humboldt 2, at the festival on 6-9 July which returns to Hartlepool after a 13-year hiatus, with a schedule of over 30 ships in
Measuring a total of 57-metres in length and a height of nearly 37-metres, the “Alexander von Humboldt 2” vessel boasts huge masts and a crew made up entirely of volunteers – and will clearly be the greenest ship in port.
