Shoreham scoops sustainability award – updated

Shoreham Port was named the most sustainable firm at the 2023 Adur and Worthing Business Awards. Judges of the awards, which honour organisations that demonstrate exceptional growth, innovation, and outstanding contributions to their community, said that the port continued to make significant strides in its environmental performance, implementing an ambitious carbon reduction strategy, with the adoption of HVO fuel and resulting in an 80-90% CO2 emissions.

The port meanwhile has appointed Lisa Lewis and Richard Jennings as non-executive directors. Both will commence their roles in January 2024.
