Simarco buys two more forwarders

Simarco International has bought out fellow UK forwarders Formula Goss International (FGI) and Sutch and Searle.

FGI operates air, sea and road routes – including daily services to Italy and Gibraltar – from its offices in Bedford while Heathrow-based Sutch and Searle specialises in air freight.

Simarco founder and managing director, Simon Reed, commented that his company would be able to offer complete logistics support: “We will bring in goods by sea or air, have them cleared by our in-house customs specialists, provide a total warehouse management and order fulfilment service via our wholly-owned facilities and, of course, maintain fast, safe and transparent deliveries to customers throughout the UK or Europe using Simarco vehicles.
He says that further purchases were being considered
In April 2014, Simarco bought out chemical specialist IFB.
