Speed – with savings
[ June 8, 2012 // Chris ]Neo Air Charter – the founder and German member of the Global Charter Alliance – has moved two urgently needed giant track rollers from Frankfurt Hahn to Islamabad in Pakistan. The rollers – weighing 38 tonnes each and measuring 6m x 2.4m x 2.9m on their specially-constructed cradles – were needed to prevent shutdown of a major cement manufacturing plant. But instead of chartering the giant An-124 at huge cost, Neo devised a plan for two consecutive rotations of the smaller and less costly IL76 aircraft.
