Stansted scheme disappoints

Logistics UK says it is disappointed that the Government’s plan to invest £1.1 billion in Stanstead Airport did not include a commitment to expanding freight services. Senior policy manager Alexandra Herdman, said it was a missed opportunity for the logistics sector, adding: “Our members are urging government to rethink how this money is distributed to ensure that air freight can continue to expand and grow across the UK, for the benefit of all.”
