Stena halts Sweden-Germany ferry

Stena Line has suspended its ferry route between Trelleborg in Sweden and Sassnitz in Germany until further notice. Freight volumes and train traffic on the route have been hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company initiated discussions with the worker´s council in Germany and the ferry FS Sassnitz is laid up in Port of Mukran, Sassnitz, until further notice.

Stena Line is currently operating an alternative ferry routes between Sweden and Germany, between Trelleborg and Rostock with two vessels.
