Strong first year for Europa’s DDP service
[ November 30, 2021 // Chris ]Europa Group says that its Europa Flow Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) service has dispatched 75,000 consignments worth about £68m across 24 European Union (EU) countries since Brexit at the beginning of 2021.
Over 5,000 customers are now signed up to the service . under which Europa completes the Export Declaration and the Anticipated Import Declaration prior to collection, allowing consignments to be collected and exported on the same day, maintaining pre Brexit Transit times.
It also relieves the need for the EU buyer to appoint a customs broker, pay to complete import declarations, or pay import duties and VAT.
On average the Europa Flow product defers £1.8m worth of duty per month and Zero Rates an estimated £14.28m per month in VAT.
