Success in bulk for Solent Stevedores

Solent Stevedores handled a record 1.2m tonnes of bulk shipments in 2021, an 18% increase on 2020. The operator’s dedicated bulk terminals at the Port of Southampton deal with commodities including animal feed, salt, fertiliser, grain, gypsum, scrap metal and aggregates. It also handles one off and regular dry bulk shipments at the Port of London, Immingham and St Helier in the Channel Islands and has recently expanded its operations to Saint Malo where it handles around 400,000 tonnes of dry bulk each year.
