Supply chain guru goes into consultancy

Former Kimberley-Clark European supply chain director Peter Surtees has launched a new consultancy to will help businesses make their supply chains leaner and more efficient. He will work with manufacturers and shippers focusing on collaboration, network optimisation, customer service and transport planning, with a particular focus on innovative, collaborative, technology-led solutions to dramatically reduce transportation costs and emissions by reducing empty running and improving vehicle efficiency.
