Air Atlanta Icelandic has introduced weekly 747-400 freighter flights between Liege, Belgium and Miami International Airport. It is the fourth freighter operator to launch services between Belgium and the Florida gateway in the past 12 months. Air Atlanta Icelandic is using Boeing B747-400F aircraft with a maximum payload of 127 metric tons for the weekly service. Belgium has become a leading hub for temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products such as vaccines.
