B737 freighter operator WestJet Cargo has signed a deal with Mexico’s Awesome Cargo to connect the latter’s hub at Felipe Ángeles International Airport in Mexico City with North America.
Awesome Cargo gained an Air Operator Certificate from Mexico's Federal Civil Aviation Agency on 13 October 13 and has already operated 17 missions with two A330 freighters, bringing over 800 tons of humanitarian aid into Acapulco.
