Dover cuts the carbon

The Port of Dover has retained its Carbon Trust Standard, marking four years of carbon reductions. The Carbon Trust Standard is awarded every two years and the Trust's external verification shows a 4.4% reduction in carbon emissions each year from 1st April 2010 to 31st March 2012 – part of a 25% reduction made since the carbon management program commenced in 2006.
