New CILT chief

Jim Steer FCILT has become the new president-elect of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport UK (CILT). He will take over the one-year role from Graham Inglis from May 2013. Jim Steer is a co-founder of the transport planning company, Steer Davies Gleave (SDG), which began operations in 1978. [+]

Kraft Foods senior logistics director, Keith Newton, has been appointed secretary general of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport International. He takes up the position from 1 May, succeeding Interim secretary general, Colm Holmes.   [+]
