CMA CGM merges shortsea arms

The CMA CGM Group has formally merged its Containerships and MacAndrews shortsea arms into a single Containerships brand. The new venture operates a fleet of 32 vessels and 700 trucks, calling 64 ports through 26 maritime services and eight inland services. Current MacAndrews  chief executive Claude Lebel has been appointed chief executive of the new venture. [+]
