P&O confirms larger Teesport ferry

P&O Ferries has confirmed that it will deploy a larger vessel on its Zeebrugge-Teesport route to cope with a surge in volumes following the axing of DFD’s Zeebrugge-Rosyth route. The 18,000 ton Estraden will replace the Mistral, a vessel approximately half its size. She will work in tandem with the existing 25,000 ton Bore Song.
