DRS to run transpennine trial trains

Direct Rail Services (DRS) is running a trial trans-Pennine service from PD Ports’ Teesport terminal to Manchester. It is the first on this route to use the ultra-low-platform IDA wagons, which allow high-cube containers to be carried, despite bridge and tunnel restrictions on the route.
