Technology-enabled freight forwarder and customs broker Flexport is to open a second European office in Hamburg and expects to hire over 100 employees in Germany in the next two to three years. The Hamburg office will be led by Janis Bargsten. Flexport already has offices in Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Atlanta and Shenzhen.

Start-up online freight forwarder Flexport is reported to be close to securing $110 million worth of funding which would bring its total capital invested to $204 million. It is expanding its cross-dock centres worldwide, having already opened facilities in Hong Kong and Los Angeles.
