Hapag-Lloyd has launched ‘Live Position’, its first dry container tracking tool. It follows the fitting of tracking devices to over two thirds of the fleet, with the remaining units expected to follow suit in summer. Users can search by container, booking number or in batches and the tool provides a quick overview of the shipment’s current location, allowing them to make any necessary adjustments in real time.
