Harwich International Port has joined its sister its sister port at Felixstowe in gaining Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status from HM Revenue & Customs. AEO status gives quicker access to certain simplified customs procedures and in some cases the right to ‘fast-track’ shipments through some customs procedures.
