IAG offers new Quito link

IAG Cargo is to launch a new Iberia route between Quito in Ecuador and its Madrid hub, from 26 October. The route will be serviced by Iberia’s largest aircraft the Airbus A340-600 following the opening of a new facility in Quito to handle the aircraft. IAG down in weak market

IAG Cargo today announced Johannesburg as the third route for its new A380 superjumbo at a ceremony at Manston airport in Kent on 24 July. The A380, which begins flying to Johannesburg from February 12, 2014 will join the 747-400 that already serves the route. [+]

Subdued start to year for IAG

IAG Cargo says all customers can now book its Prioritise, Perform and Constant Fresh services via the iagcargo.com web portal for the first time. More Seattle space

IAG Cargo will offer more cargo space between London and Seattle this autumn following an increase in frequency of British Airways passenger flights. Three new flights will start from 27 October, operated by a Boeing 777-200, giving additional available capacity of 108 tons per week. [+]

Partners in sight saving

DHL Express and IAG Cargo cooperated to move 1,900 kilos of surgical eye material to Lodwar Hospital in Turkana, north Kenya in April.
