ISO signs new deal on freight emissions

The International Standards Organisation (ISO) has signed a new deal on freight transport emissions. It says that a new International Workshop Agreement (IWA) represents a major step towards reducing them. The recently published IWA 16 defines a framework to quantify CO2 emissions of freight transport in both total and intensity terms.
