Lufthansa Cargo and its partner Aircargo Consulting have developed a new process to allow larger vehicles to be carried in the bellyholds of passenger planes operated by its Eurowings subsidiary. While cars that fit on an aircraft pallet can be loaded into passenger planes, larger vehicles have until now had to be transported by freighter aircraft.

Lufthansa Cargo has added two weekly freighters to Osaka, Japan, complementing its existing daily freighter to Tokyo-Narita as well as the Lufthansa passenger flights to Osaka-Kansai, Tokyo-Haneda, and Nagoya.
