Maersk has operated a dedicated block train from China to Poland to deliver PPE for medical supplier Zarys International Group, and commissioned by the Polish Material Reserves Agency. The 41-container-long block train operated from Yiwu to the intermodal terminal in Małaszewicze, where it arrived on 8 February. The protective equipment carried by Maersk’s new block train will ultimately be distributed to medical institutions across the country.
