Food specialist Nagel-Group has expanded its chilled logistics centre at Eschweiler, near the Belgian and Dutch border. The new facility will be about 29,300sq m and will have warehouse space covering 8,330sq m and will be able to store and handle up to 1,600 tonnes of food per day in temperature ranges from 4 to 18 degrees Celsius. The facility is due to be completed later this year.

Food logistics specialist Nagel-Group has opened its second location in the Netherlands at Waalwijk, following an agreement with fellow food specialist, Kivits Drunen. The new partner will undertake collections, transhipment services and distribution in the southern and western regions of the country.
