Finnish-based Nurminen Logistics is claiming that it will run the first ever block train from Europe to India on the Western wing of the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC).
INSTC is the 7,200 km long, multi-modal network of ship, rail, and road routes for moving freight between India, Russia, Iran, Europe, and Central Asia. The train route is twice as fast as the traditional maritime route via Suez Canal.

He was previously chief executive of the Mariadi European educational platform and was also a senior vice president of Finnair responsible for ground handling. Finnish-based Nurminen Logisticshas elected Olli Pohjanvirta (picture) as its new CEO, following the decision of current president and CEO, Topi Saarenhovi, to step down.
