Philippine Airlines off EU banned list

The European Commission has removed Philippine Airlines from its list of airlines banned from operating on its territory, following an improvement in safety standards. However, all other carriers registered in the Philippines remain subject to the country-wide ban that was imposed in 2010. Venezuelan airline Conviasa, banned in 2012, has also been reinstated.
