Rhenus to buy Rhineland freight firm

Rhenus is to take over fellow German logistics company LOXX, subject to approval by the competition authorities. Headquartered in Gelsenkirchen, near Essen, it specialises cross-border cargo in the Rhine/Ruhr region. As well as the 17,000sq m logistics centre in Gelsenkirchen, the acquisition will include business sites in Pleidelsheim near Stuttgart and in Warsaw, Poznań and Katowice in Poland. [+]
