Russell set to build rail hub on former steelworks site

Intermodal operator Russell Group has applied for planning permission to build a railhead and logistics hub at Ravenscraig, on the site of the former steelworks.The £200m scheme would create 200 jobs at the site, which would also become the group’s headquarters.
