Partners sign Duisburg deal

Intermodal and shortsea operator Samskip, Duisport and rail firm TX Logistik have signed a deal to jointly operate the Logport III combined transport terminal in Duisburg, Germany. They have founded a new company, Ziel Terminal with Samskip holding 49.8% and Duisport and TX Logistik 25.1% each. The agreement is subject to approval by the European competition authorities.
