High tech hybrids for Southampton

DP World has placed an order for 12 hybrid straddle carriers at its terminal in Southampton. They use regenerating technology to charge modern Lithium-ion batteries and are expected to use 20% less fuel and cut emissions compared with diesel-electric machines.
