DSV buys Swift

Danish-headquartered forwarder DSV is to acquire Dubai-based Swift Freight Group. Swift Freight specialises in Africa, where it has representation in 15 countries, along with the UAE, India and China. Swift Freight CEO Warren Erfmann will become regional CEO of DSV Swift in Africa. DSV in the Czech Republic is also to acquire the  the air, road, sea freight and contract logistics activities of AWT Cechofracht, for an undisclosed sum.     [+]
