IAG Cargo has replaced the narrowbody Airbus A321 aircraft with widebody Boeing 777 aircraft on seven of its 14 weekly flights between London Heathrow and Tel Aviv, boosting cargo capacity ten times. The new aircraft can carry up to carry 18 tonnes on the Heathrow-Tel Aviv route and 16 tons on the Tel Aviv-Heathrow leg. As a result, IAG Cargo has increased capacity by 1000%.

Turkish carrier Pegasus Airlines has increased its flights from Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen Airport to Tel Aviv to three times a day, following the launch of the route in Juune 2012. Connections are available from London Stansted via Sabiha Gokcen.
