Kintetsu World Express will open a new logistics centre in Prachinburi, eastern Thailand in January 2015. It is clustered with automobile maker plants and various other manufacturing plants in the Rojana Industrial Park. A packaging service plant will open alongside the new logistics centre.

FedEx Trade Networks, the freight forwarding arm of the express parcels giant, has opened its first office in Thailand. The new Bangkok site brings the number of Asia-Pacific forwarding locations to 17.

A series of three AN-124 flights by Volga-Dnepr Airlines has carried over 200 tonnes of industrial equipment from Japan to to help rebuild a flood-damaged Honda factory. The flights each carried a payload of between 60-70 tonnes from Nagoya and Osaka airports to Bangkok.
